Пожертвовав щитовыми мирами Системы Криптус, чтобы предотвратить ранние наступления ксеносов, сама планета Баал попала под интенсивные атаки Флота-улья Левиафан. Флот тиранидов был настолько огромен, что даже после существенных потерь затмевал звёзды на небе. Лорд Данте приказал укрепить родной мир Кровавых ангелов и его луны как никогда прежде. Не любитель сидеть и ждать атаки, он также послал десятки превентивных ударных групп, чтобы задержать, увести и подточить силы живой армады. Просьба Данте, отправленная всем потомкам осаждённых Кровавых ангелов, прислать немедленную помощь была услышана. Расчленители прибыли первыми, и в конечном итоге отозвались все ордены, кроме Плакальщиков. Даже Рыцари крови, объявленные Excommunicate traitoris Высшими лордами Терры, прибыли, чтобы встать на защиту мира. Но этого было недостаточно.
Обучаясь с экспоненциальной скоростью флот-улей Левиафан не мог быть отброшен дважды одной и той же стратегией. Первые девятнадцать волн, каждая больше предыдущей, были отражены, но огромной ценой для Кровавых ангелов и их наследников. Пять магистров орденов пали в отчаянной схватке, трое только в Битве у Купола ангелов. Тираниды начали процесс опустошения Баала и его лун, поглощая даже отравленные радиацией пустыни Баал Секундус. С сокрушённой обороной и лунами, лишёнными всякой жизни и сломленными, оставшиеся в живых косодесантники отступили к руинам раскинувшейся крепости-монастыря Кровавых ангелов. Там они приготовились к последней битве, когда на поверхность опустилась следующая волна. Погибель, казалось, наконец настигла Сынов Сангвиния. Именно тогда Великий разлом расколол галактику, и чахлая системя Баал была поражена эфирными штормами. И хотя дальнейших атак от флота Левиафан не последовало, на Баал Прайм не осталось ни одного живого имперского защитника. На самом Баале тиранидов было достаточно, чтобы уничтожить имперские войска несколько раз подряд. Даже не имея шансов на победу, Данте возглавил войска, каждое отступление с боем было более отчаянным, чем предыдущее. Когда последний рубеж обороны пал, звёзды на небе засияли вновь. Обратив взоры к небу, тираниды пытались связаться со своим флотом, но он исчез, его заменил появившийся имперский флот.
Словно ангел возмездия прибыл Робаут Жиллиман и его крестовый поход. После множества битв Баал был наконец очищен от ксеноугрозы. Великое востановление мира и Ордены было предпринято, ибо Кровавые ангелы и их потомки были нужны в другом месте. Что случилось с Левиафаном - загадка, однако намёк на разгадку был найден на ныне опустошённом Баал Прайм. Черепа ксеносов были свалены в невозможно высокий восьмиконечный символ, так почитаемый самым ужасным и древним врагом Кровавых ангелов - кровожадом Ка'Бандой.

Warhammer 40,000: Urban Conquest is available to pre-order this weekend – a campaign box designed to help you fight exciting interconnected battles across war-torn urban environments. With the war on Vigilus dominating recent events in the 41st Millennium, we thought we’d take a look at the lore regarding the many hivesprawls and metropolitan districts that can be found across the embattled sentinel world.
If you’re looking to pick up a copy of Urban Conquest and need some inspiration for a location in which to set your campaign, read on and see where your imagination takes you:
Serving as the lair of the Patriarch known as Grandsire Wurm, Dirkden Hivesprawl has unwittingly been the spiritual home of the Pauper Princes Genestealer Cult on Vigilus for some time, and it swiftly fell under their sway at the outset of the fighting. Dirkden has also been relentlessly assailed by the Orks of the Speedwaaagh!, but it was ultimately the prevalence of cultists within its walls, combined with their control of the hivesprawl’s Bastion force fields, that forced the Vigilite forces to grudgingly abandon the hivesprawl’s defence. However, it surely won’t be long before the Imperium attempts to reclaim that which was theirs.
After a swift, well-organised strike by the Pauper Princes, Oteck Hivesprawl soon became another of their strongholds, though it would not remain so for long. A strike force of Space Wolves, led by Haldor Icepelt, combined their acute senses with Fenrisian fieldcraft to track the cultists underground and ultimately drove them from the Greigan Hollow. Though the insidious plot of the Pauper Princes to corrupt the hivesprawl’s drinking water with their genetic taint was thwarted, vicious street fighting throughout Oteck continues apace.
As the seat of the Planetary Governor and Aquilarian Council, Hyperia Hivesprawl enjoyed the greatest concentration of Imperial military strength in the early stages of the war. Entire regiments of the Vigilant Guard and resident orders of the Adepta Sororitas secured positions around the Governor’s Palace at Saint’s Haven. This gathering of might did little to deter the Saim-Hann warhost of Spiritseer Qelanaris, however, who sought to assail the Aquilarian Palace directly in order to resolve a personal vendetta. Only the timely intervention of Lieutenant Eothrus of the Ultramarines 2nd Company prevented the wholesale massacre of the Vigilite leadership.

As the heart of the Adeptus Mechanicus presence on Vigilus, Megaborealis saw fierce fighting between the invading Ork Speedwaaagh! and the servants of the Machine God. The sudden ferocity of the initial greenskin attack, combined with natural cover provided by an ill-fated storm of dust and pollution, robbed the Skitarii forces of their defensive advantage. The Orks tore deep into the hivesprawl before their impetus was finally stymied. To make matters worse, Genestealer Cultists infiltrated a Titan hanger and detonated a vortex missile, crippling or destroying all of the God-Machines that were being mustered for the hivesprawl’s defence!
Astra Militarum and reinforcements continue to pour into this crucial region, alongside Tempestus Scion drop teams aboard entire wings of Valkyries and Vendetta Gunships, but the hivesprawl is becoming increasingly overrun each day.
Dontoria has been beset by enemies from without and sickness from within. Through plague spread by an infiltrating detachment of Death Guard, and a Gellerpox Infection believed to have originated from the Litmus Dock, the hivesprawl’s population has been cruelly decimated in spite of the extensive quarantine measures hastily put in place. The hivesprawl is all but ready to fall…

It can also work on buildings, cars or whatever is needed, because when you think about current robots like mechanical arms are doing just find screwed there ensambling our goods, the only reason to make them any more anthropomorphic might be versatility.619) Tesla walker: We have alredy abused enough in science fiction with tesla stuff... maybe tesla coils are just the quintessential futuristic or retrofuturistic mad scientist invention and they perfectly match a crazy robot.
620) Imperial guard: Inspired by 40k, I made some sort of.. imperial guard... Roman looking robot armed with a gladius, a smaller dagger and some kind of gun.
621) Tactical defender: This robot is designed to stand its ground while receiving heavy fire (thats what the shield is for, duh!). To avoid stress of the parts, reduce friction and optimize the absorption of the energy it hoover some centimetres above the ground transforming the impact of the projectile into movement... so technically it does not hold its ground at all, its not even in contact with the ground. But It is a good defender, thats for sure.
622) The Aerial: The ultimate walking tower... because we don't see many walking towers around. This defense engine carries a powerful shield generator, long range missiles, a ring of massive guns around the "hips" and smaller anti-personal guns from the knees to the ankles.
623) M-23 Suppressor: An assassination unit. First of all let me make something clear; a human shape would be the last I would think of when thinking about movement efficiency, and overall... deadlyness. Spiders, snakes... dogs! everything would make a better assassin in my opinion, but sometimes peer pressure wins the game, and with so many killer androids out there I had to make one too. I can't remember if it had any ranged weapons, but the blades are just find, the one on the right hand is motorized by the way.
624) Adan: The first one of a new breed of robots, faster, stronger, and smarter than humans.. hmnn well, thats it.
625) Infiltrator: A worm or snake like mechanical creature designed for espionage, it can slither inside ventilation ducts ... and simliar large ducts so frecuent in advanced futuristic structures whitout which hideous creatures, and nimble hereos wouldn't survive.
626) A.P: Imagine not only an artificial intelligence, but also that intelligence developing psychic powers like psychokinesis and telepathy, how could would that be. And if this powers were to be affected by the power of the brain itself, and being a compure it would be all like "bip bip, analizing atomic structure" and be super powerful? wouldn't that be awesome?
