The first xenos codex of 2021 makes the Drukhari faster and deadlier than ever before. You’ll see:

-More attacks
-Higher damage

The stabbiest of the Aeldari are about to get stabbier. Their new rules allow you to take the realspace raiding force you’ve dreamed of without being penalised in Command point cost. Want to run a pure Wych cult? You can do that. Have an urge to mix up Kabals with Haemonculi Covens? Do it! The book also introduces new Crusade rules that allow you to expand your influence and become a feared crime lord of Commorragh.

Whether you’re planning a mighty realspace raid or starting a Crusade army, you’ll definitely want to include some Incubi, who are now more lethal than ever.

Incubi will easily slice through anything that gets in their way. Now that their klaives are Damage 2, even Space Marines will be no match for them in combat.

Nobody is Safe From the Awesome Power of The T’au Empire’s New and Improved Railgun

For the T’au Empire, warfare means massed pulse rifle fire, hit-and-run battlesuits, and the whip-crack report of awesomely powerful railguns making mincemeat of enemy vehicles. We’ve looked at the first two already, so it’s time to tackle the railgun – the shining star of T’au engineering, and the dependable Hammerhead tank it’s often mounted on.

Popular with proponents of both the Mont’ka and Kauyon philosophies, rail weapons use magnetic fields to fire metal slugs at very high velocity, punching through armour like paper. And in the upcoming Codex: T’au Empire, they’ve had a considerable upgrade.

The Fire Caste use several varieties, from the Pathfinders‘ rail rifles to the heavy rail cannons of a Manta Missile Destroyer, but it’s the Hammerhead’s railgun that all others are compared to.

There are a few things to break down here. With an AP of -6 and the ability to ignore invulnerable saves, your payload will be making it through almost any kind of energy field, daemonic protection, or battle plate that might stand in its way.

Once that shot hits home, it delivers eye-watering damage with the potential to knock out vehicles and large monsters in a single shot. With such a powerful single slug, connecting with each shot is crucial, so the Hammerhead has an advanced targeting array that pairs well with the new Markerlights rules.

The Hammerhead is shockingly effective at turning single targets into smoking wrecks, but what if the enemy is coming in numbers? Faced with smaller foes, Hammerhead pilots can load short-ranged Submunitions.

The railgun is not the only big hitter getting a major update in the new Codex: T’au Empire – would you believe it isn’t even the strongest weapon in their arsenal? We’ll be having a look at a few more soon, but in the meantime, you should brush up on the devious plans of the Genestealer Cults and Adeptus Custodes.

Warlord Mk1 Custodian Titan

Here is a rather esoteric one: a Custodian Titan. Each titan legion has a single Custodian titan, which replaces its carapace weapons with a Devotional Bell, built from sacred Terran metals and annointed with drop of the Emperor’s blood. The bell acts as a mobile shrine for the Imperial Cult and a rallying point on the battlefield. The presence of a Custodian Titan in a battle is a complete anathema to daemonic intrusions into the material universe as it directly extends the Emperor’s will and spirit to his mortal followers.

As well as its Devotional Bell, this titan also has a Command Head and Carapace multi-lasers, and its arm weapons are Lucius-pattern weapons from the Mk III Warlord Titan.

В полноценную игру пока не собираюсь, хочу начать с Kill Team (либо с Корсаров, либо с коробки Nightmare - Ночников и Мандрагоров).

1. Где лучше покупать миниатюры, инструменты для покраса и т.п.

Пока что я думаю между Hobby Games и Рынком Свободных миниатюр

2. Стоит ли брать литье и/или 3д печать?

3. Какие краски вы бы порекомендовали? Стоит ли брать только Citadel? 

4. Стоит ли брать с десяток минек для тренировки? Я планирую взять попрактиковаться Вичей, но может лучше взять что-либо еще (может вообще не ГВшное)?

5. Можете посоветовать хороших гайдов по покрасу? На английском тоже подойдет

6. Есть ли какие-либо рекомендации впринципе?
