UR-025 is an oddity, even by the standards of Precipice. Ostensibly an aged Imperial Robot in the service of a Magos of the Adeptus Mechanicus, it seems there are secrets to UR-205’s past that may be revealed as you play. UR-025 is interested not in the Blackstone Fortress itself, but the seemingly sentient constructs that inhabit it.
Once a hive ganger, Pious Vorne now fights alongside Taddeus the Purifier, having discovered the joys of faith (not to mention burning heretics). Vorne has a pathological love of incendiary execution and seeks to slay any heretics who see the Blackstone Fortress as a refuge from the Emperor’s light.
Taddeus is a Ministorum Priest brought to the Blackstone Fortress by a holy vision seen in the burning remains of a particularly impertinent Imperial Navyman. Taddeus hopes to bring the Imperial Cult to Precipice, as well as purging any taint from the Blackstone Fortress itself.
Janus Draik is a Rogue Trader – one of the bold pioneers tasked with expanding the borders of the Imperium. The Blackstone Fortress is one in a long line of claims this explorer has made for the Imperium – and a source of invaluable archeotech and artefacts for future ventures.
Little is known about Rein & Raus. Their wargear would suggest that these sanctioned abhumans once fought with the Astra Militarum, but now they live as renegades. Both are consummate thieves – to them, the Blackstone Fortress represents profit and little else.
Like many Kroot, Dahyak Grekh is a mercenary, working for the highest bidder. The Kroot mercenary code of honour is key to him – for it is through loyal service that the Kroot may consume new genetic material. Through eating many unfortunate inhabitants of the fortress and thus assuming their memories, Grekh has learned much of the mysteries within…
Hailing originally from the now-shattered Craftworld of Biel-Tan, Amallyn Shadowguide has travelled the webway for centuries. For her, the Blackstone Fortress represents a possible way to save her dying home and to make Biel-Tan whole again through the strange technologies within.

Сборная России взяла золото ETC 2017 по Warhammer 40k
Сборная России по настольному Warhammer 40000 заняла первое место на международном командном чемпионате ETC, который проходил со 2-ого по 6-ое августа в испанской Саламанке.
В упорной борьбе наши игроки обошли сильнейшие коллективы из Франции, Германии и Польши, уступив лишь в одном туре из шести.

За всю историю престижного соревнования сборная России впервые заняла столь высокую позицию на пьедестале. С 2008 по 2016 год наша команда добиралась только до третьей строчки в общем зачете (2016). На данный момент в соревновании участвуют 25 команд.
Вот что рассказали Game2Day игроки сразу после финала:
Сергей "Starrok" Стажило-Алексеев: Ощущения после финала очень крутые, мы много и упорно тренировались, прикидывали таблицы. Лично я отыграл больше 20 тренировочных партий. Было очень приятно, что за нас болеют, народ здорово хайпил. Будем стараться тащить в будущем тоже, а также развивать спортивный вархаммер в России.
Юрий Величковский: Арена скандировала Suka Bliad’
Степан Зотов (Ветеран команды с 2008 года): Мы выиграли у сильнейших команд. В том числе у Германии - многократных чемпионов ETC. В плане комфорта турнир бьет все рекорды. Статусный отель и целый футбольный стадион был арендован для соревнований. Однако пока турниру не хватает волевого руководства и единой-команды. Когда все время демократия это очень плохо и бардак. Всем нужно официальное признание и статус. Освещение в СМИ. Тогда и организация, и мотивация будет другой.
До этого года ETC был крупнейшим мировым турниром по настольному Warhammer 40000. Однако на днях компания Games Workshop (прим. ред. производитель миниатюр) анонсировала Grand Tournament, который выявит лучших игроков в личном зачете и пройдет в 3 этапа:
1 этап: 14-15 Октября2 этап: 9-10 Декабря
3 этап: 17-18 Февраля
Финал
120 лучших игроков по результатам трех этапов сойдутся в финале. Что примечательно, билеты на первый этап уже раскуплены.
