TSONGOR, THE TWICE-DEAD PRAETOR OF THE DEATH GUARD Original character by (©poinpoingeek Fan art by Orniris Terensi Tsongor’s true identity and past remain unclear. Rumour has it that he joined the Deathshroud cadre after he was officially reported dead in the aftermath of the Emancipation of Drune. However, acknowledging his unique abilities, his Primarch soon came to consider that Tsongor better be used on the field as a warlord in his own right. Mortarion then decided to relieve him from duty, an unprecedented decision in the history of the legion’s elite corps whose members must serve until they meet death. As a result, Tsongor was considered dead for the second time, becoming the only living Death Guard to own not just one, as any Deathshroud, but two skull-shaped studs on the Wall of Memory on Barbarus.
