Vakuran, Leviathan Pattern Siege Dreadnought Legiones Astartes Night Lords, Xorthorn Aftermath A veteran of the later Unification Wars, Ancient-Reductus Vakuran fell in battle against a mighty Over-wyrd of the Hambro-Cuth. Vakuran would be sealed within the Leviathan pattern Siege Dreadnought depicted in this pict-image, a machine captured by the Night Lords at Xorthorn VII, the still-living body of its Ultramarines internee ripped from its sarcophagus and cast to the bloody ground. Vakuran in his Leviathan form is known to have participated in a dozen campaigns fought across the coreward marches of the Ultima Segmentum and Segmentum Tempestus, in each case leading the Traitor Night Lords forces in direct assaults against heavily defended Loyalist holdfasts. In each instance the Dreadnought’s attack was more direct, brutal and crude, leading observers to suspect that his sanity had been stretched to breaking point by the strain of operating the highly taxing and demanding Leviathan Dreadnought.
