In the void of space, massive battlefleets pierce the darkness to enforce the will of the Emperor. Vast warships maneuver and fire at each other; fighters and bombers are launched in waves; and torpedoes race toward their targets. Thoro is no peace among tho stars. Battiefieet Gothic allows you to command fleets of warships in deadly conflict in the voids of space. The Gothic war was a grim time when the Imperium of Mankind battled for survival in the hostile depths of space. The system was plagued by Ork pirates. Eldar corsairs, and the most dangerous foe of all...Chaos. The original Battiefieet Gothic game came with rules for four fleets - Imperial. Chaos. and Eldar. Since that time, tho hard-working guys in the Specialists Games Division have made rules and models for Necrons, Tau. Space Marines. Dark Eldar, and other space phenomenon like mines and more. (CHOOSING YOUR OWN FLEET As a potential new Admiral about to embark on a mission to cooqucr the galaxy, it is C'vvcniial to decide which fleet you want to command. Some Commander» choose a fleet ba»cd on w hat Wxrtummcr 40POO army they already own. w hile other» may bate a decision on the look» and "paim-ability" of the »hip». For the more tactically minded, here 1» a quick rundown on the general strategics behind each type of fleet. Impcriul Heel». In general, it wim a» if Imperial power» fawn armor and long-ranged »inking power over »beer »peed. A!mo»t all Cruiser* and Batttediips have massively armored prow» that can absorb mighty punishment. and when you add in the fearsome Nova Cannoa. you get a blend of longevity and firepower. Chaos Fleets. These arc largely constructed of older sersions of Imperial ships that defected during the Heresy. Chaos tends tossard faster ships with shorter ranged weaponry. This means that it is imperative for a Traitor Fleet to close quickly and unleash its potent weaponry point blank. Eldar Fleets. The Eldar are hit-and-run specialists that use superior speed and maneuverability. While Eldar ships can dish it out. they are not particularly sturdy nor do they hold up well under sustained heavy fire. Ork Fleets. As one might expect, Ork» are not subtle. They prefer by far to rush headlong at any enemy they can find. Though rusty, neglected, and ill-kempt (at best). Ork ships arc loaded with weapons! Space Marines. While launching quick striking operations ¡» their strong suit. Space Marine fleets are formidable all on their own. The Battle Barge is not to fcc lightly regarded (especially at close range), and before a foe know» it. wave after wave of Thundcrhawk» are streaking toward his fleet! V Necrons. These mysterious aliens have more bizarre, arcane weapon systems than any other fleet. Multidirectional lightning are», forced Leadership cheeks, and reactive hull» are just a few of the technologically advanced items at a Neeroo's disposal. Tyranid». The Tyr.inid fleets arc a tenor up clov:. These completely biological sesscls are in essence huge creatures floating through the depths of space. While most of ths*ir weaponry is close ranged, the horrible ships also have claws, tentacle», and appendages that can make attacks should any foe approach too close. Dark Eldar. The Dark Eldar are raiders and slave merchants. Just tike their race themselves. Dark Eldar ships arc wicked and hard-hitting. Fast like their goodly brethren, the Dark Eldar ships do much better on the speedy assault than in defense. Having related armies and fleets opens up plenty of opportunities for linked canifwigns of Battlefleet Gothic and Warhammer 40K. В Варпе тысячи тысяч звездных систем. Ресурсов более чем хватит.
Когда в 90-х делали описания для БФГ, флот Хаоса описывался как старые имперские корабли, так или иначе перешедшие под контроль ебических сил. Ссылались естественно на М31+, т.к. доересевый Империум никто не трогает. Было все логично: на стороне Хаоса старые технологии, дающие прирост в мощности орудий и двигателей, на стороне Империума продуманная компоновка и усовершенствованная броня с усиленным носом.
А потом БЛ начала гнать свои говнокнижки с говноартами особо не заморачиваясь. Т.е. нужен кораблик для арта - открываем гугл и ищем империал шип. Выдает конечно же корабли Империал нэви, и в 95% случаев в М30 летают те же корабли, что и в М41. А т.к. БЛ это бэк, то имеем, например, крейсер класса Мёрдер, строившийся с М33 по М37 и смененный крейсером Лунар, который согласно новому бэку... уже вовсю летал в М30!

Вообщем задумка и возможности хорошо,ждем исполнения.
А вот по поводу оркских,вероятно это все же не "типы" кораблей,а просто наглядные образцы,какими они могут быть.
кстати, если я не ошибаюсь, то корабли орков в этой игре это "дробовик". очень мощный дамаг, но только на близких дистанциях, потому эти корабли увешиваются тоннами брони и рвущим все (даже небо, Солнце, Аллаха, Малала) двиглом.
