IRAHSAC NATANTH The Solemn Mantle Autarch of Cairt rionnag Original character by (ffidurbguy Fan art by Orniris Terensi Known to the craftworld of Cairt-Rionnag as the Solemn Mantle, Irahsac Natanth is one of the most skilled Autarchs the Craftworld has to offer. However, even with his prestigious rank, Irahsac is often treated as an outsider due to his origins. He was not born in Cairt-Rionnag, instead he was born an Exodite, on the world of Nim-manar, along with his brother, Fae-Sil. This is what gives him the moniker of Solemn Mantle, as Irahsac often finds himself in sorrowful isolation, as the location of Nimmanar has been lost. This disillusionment culminated when he defied orders to exterminate a thriving, peaceful community of “heretics" that had interacted with xenos. Starford and a number of similarly-disaffected men fought back against the Imperium's executionary forces long enough for a T’au contingent to arrive and drive back the Imperium from the system for good. Recognizing Starford’s involvement, the T’au offered him a place among the fire caste warriors. He agreed, pledging himself to the T'au’va, to fight for the Greater Good of Mankind. Over many years, he liberated numerous systems from the Imperium’s rotting grasp, and rose through the ranks of the fire caste, eventually receiving the great honor of becoming a cadre fireblade Shas'nel, one of the highest positions available to a gue'vesa.
