It is with regret that we must report the increasing incursions of Eldar Pirate forces throughout the North Galactic Quadrant. The attacks of these alien forces on Imperial Wbrlds must be regarded as a long term threat to the security of several worlds in this quadrant. The escalation of Eldar activity in the area may be traced directly to the rise of the company of Eldritch Raiders led by the self-styled 'Lord Prince' Yriel (see holoscan visual). It is now evident that Imperium fostered rivalries between Yriel and other pirate companies resulted in factional fighting. Yriel's conquest and absorption of two other groups (Xian’s Black Raiders and the Scarlet Command) now makes him the single most powerful Eldar pirate operating in the galaxy. FIR DINILLAINN INFINITY SYMBOL CLAN SYMBOL The clan symbol of the Protectors of the Fallen. Appears on the crew s jackets and in an abstracted form on the Titan's banners. FIR FARILLECASSION (WATCHERS OVER ANCIENT WRONGS) It is widely-fumoured among the few Eldar unaware of the truth that the true location of the Black Library - said to hold the Eldar codices that concern themselves with the worship of Chaos and tell of the Eldar's downfall - must be the Biel-Tann Craft World. Although this is certainly untrue the Phantoms of Bicl-Tann do display an unparalleled hatred of Chaos. The driving force behind this hatred is a fervent wish that no other race should suffer the terrible downfall that befell the Eldar. Inquisitor Trant tells of his journey to Tnun IX to destroy a Khoraatc coven. However. Trant armed too late - upon reaching the surface he found that virtually the entire population had been wiped out. In the rubble of the western continent's capital city he found a half-burnt banner bearing the symbols of the Fir FariUecassion • the Phantoms of Biel-Tann. They had arrived before him. FIR IOLARION CLAN SYMBOL CLAN BANNER The top of the banner shows the spirit seal: the personal rune of the spirit stone inside the Phantom. It often contains elements of the clan badge Next down is a runic version of the clan symbol It is this rune that the Phantom’s crew print on their coats and trousers. The bottom section of the banner has a runic representation of the Phantom itself, which varies according to the armament the Phantom is carrying. IOLARION (EAGLES BORN OF FIRE) The Fir lolarion • Eagles Born of Fire - were almost completely destroyed four centuries ago when they lost control of the warp gates onboard their craft world. Logannath. allowing the Daemons of the warp to enter and attack them. For many years the clan drifted bclplcsdy in space while they laboured to make the necessary repairs; stranded, and with their numbers severely depleted by the creatures in their midst, they were reduced to being one of the weakest Eldar dans. Over time however, thanks only to their own unrelenting and steadfast efforts, they have not only regained the power they once had. but have exceeded it tenfold. Their almost total obliteration is now regarded by their leaders as a baptism of fire. FIR DINILLAINN (PROTECTORS OF THE FALLEN) Since Imperial records began the Eldar Phantoms of the Saim-Hann Craft World have been known as the Fir Dinillainn -the Protectors of the Fallen. Yet on their own time scale, this name is but a recent acquisition, earned by an act of outstanding courage and selfless service to another clan many thousands of years ag& Lord Amthillon. leader at the time sacrificed a third of his force to protect the dying warriors of the Fir Lirithion clan - his companions in the field • so that their spirit-stones could be retrieved. By that single act of self sacrifice the Fir Lirillyon - the Knights of Purpose - were renamed the Fir Dinillainn. Since that day the Phantoms of the Saim-Hann Craft World have astonished even Imperial forces with their selfless heroism. FIR IOLARION INFINITY SYMBOL D-CANNON An awesome weapon particularly favoured by the Eldar that exposes its victims to the ravages of the warp. V CANNON A weapon unique to tbe Eldar that literally vibrates its targets to pieces. PULSE LASER A highly sophisticated laser cannon that amply demonstrates the Eldar’s consummate skill in constructing laser weapons.
