When the Homeworld of the Storm Engines Chapter was besieged by an Emperor's children Warband, Serein carved his way through the Traitors, rallying his scattered brothers and leading a brutal counter attack against the Chaos Space Marines. After the grueling war, most of Chapter command had fallen or confined to Dreadnoughts. The remnants of command recognized the young Mordran, and with the backing of Old King Candromagne, the former Chapter Lord now interned within a Dreadnought.
