Its aim was to intervene in defence of critical imperial worlds in Imperium Nihilus that were deemed too important to fall. As a result, the Dawn Breakers operate generally without support or regular reinforcements from Terra. To combat this, they have been forced to form close ties to a number of other highly mobile Imperial forces in Imperium Nihilus such as the Imperial Knight Household House Hickey and the Guard Regiments from the world of Villiam.
