книг (в частности и на rutracker) чертова куча. ИМХО, не важно с какой читать: в каждой книжке по открывается какая-то отдельная грань -- с накоплением прочтённого материала будет складываться общая картинка
И уже только потом приступать к «Ереси Хоруса». Её действия хоть и происходят хронологически раньше, но она не показывает тот мир Империума, который мы все знаем и любим. Поэтому её лучше читать, уже имея представление о 41 тысячелетии.
Осталось только свести всю предысторию вахи на манер энциклопедии, где будет даваться информация о её мире, чтоб любой нуб мог зайти и почитать, что ему конкретно непонятно. Скорей бы это сделали!

однако ты правильно заметил, что цыкл ереси написан под контролем ГВ, и есть мнение что как раз для того, чтобы улучшить качество и понимание литературной составляющей боёв миниатюрных солдатиков
